D & J's Snowboarding Trip

D, J and one of J's friends, J got away to Brian Head, Utah last weekend to do some snowboarding. Since J has everything and didn't want much for Christmas, D had promised her a snowboarding trip. It worked out perfectly, they got a great deal on lift tickets, board rentals, a lesson and a room. Not to mention they had fresh powder to snowboard on for two whole days. Both had a really good time and are already trying to plan their next trip this season.D & JJ & J

Tubing Video

There was this massive tubing hill at the resort D & J went snowboarding at. They were pretty beat after boarding all day on Friday so they decide to try the tubing hill that night. Here is D videoing himself going down. You have to scroll to the bottom and mute the music before hitting play because D will make you laugh. =)

My Twilight Saga

Ok so I have to tell you about these books I have been reading. I am so hooked, because they are so good. And if you know me I am not a reader, I hate to read, I did just what I had to to get through college. So for me to be reading these books at the rate that I am, I am shocked!

J had been reading this (huge) book (600 pages) called Twilight. I never thought much about it because it was about vampires, didn't really spike an interest. Then the movie came out and she had went to go see it once, then on Christmas wanted us to take her again, so we did. The movie was Awesome! Even D liked it. Well, after watching the movie it sparked my interest to read the book. I also ended up going back and watching the movie for a second time around New Years. I finished Twilight (529 pages) in about 4 days. I then Quickly moved on to the second book in the series, New Moon. I finished New Moon in 3 days (595 pages). Well, now I was really hooked, so I immediately started the third book, Eclipse. I read 629 pages in less then 2 days! I just started the fourth and final book of the series, Breaking Dawn. I am trying to slow my self down because I know that when I get to the end of this one I am done, and that is so sad, because they are so good. Although, I am not doing too good at slowing myself down, because in 2 days I am already on page 315 of the 755 page book.

D doesn't like that I am reading these he says it makes me too mushy. They are kinda a love story with a twist. They get my heart going pitter patter. Let me tell you I AM IN LOVE WITH EDWARD CULLIN. =) It scares D a little that I feel that way because as I said before J is reading the books too. =)

Anyway, I am really enjoying reading now. So if you have any good books you recommend leave us a comment or send me an email, so I can check them out next. With all this being said, because I have been reading so much I am behind on posting stuff on the blog and checking my email, I guess that's ok because the books are better for my brain, right?

Well, if you have not heard about the books or the movie and would like more info you can visit www.thetwilightsaga.com. There you will find movie trailers, soundtrack info and all the info on the books. I also found this blog that lets you watch the movie for FREE the link is: http://watch-twilight-movie-online-for-free.blogspot.com/. So if you start to (or already have) read these or see the movie, you'll have to let me know what you think. Here are a few pics of my Edward. =)

22 Month Update

Well, our little girl has turned in to a tape recorder. She repeats just about everything you say. She has so much personality I can't even begin to tell you about it. She loves to play, inside or outside and loves play dates, shes our little busy body.

We have really started working on her potty training. She can tell us as shes going or after shes gone but not before. We have been spending lots of time hanging out on the toilet. =) Also since her last update she has cut two more teeth and is working on a couple more of her eye teeth. A loves music, she likes to sing, dance, or play music. She is starting to learn her colors and ABC's. A can count to three, and were working on the rest of the numbers. She really likes books, she has a couple that we read all the time (thanks Auntie M & Uncle R) that she is now starting to read them to us. =) A totally idolizes her big sister J. She is starting to understand the concept of "mess" & "dirty" sometimes she will even help clean, but she likes making the messes a lot more than cleaning them. =) Well, I think that is about it for this months update. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

And the Winner is...

J and Cousin A had another Cheer Competition this past weekend. They had two other teams in their division and we are very PROUD to report back that our Girls came ahead...They brought home another 1st Place Trophy for Team Dynamics!

The whole team looked amazing! They were so in sync their motions were spot on and they had great smiles. They all looked like they were having so much fun and just really enjoying it, it was as if it came natural to them. (Usually they look like they are stressed and trying too hard.)

Their next competition is coming up on Valentines Day, let us know if you would be interested in going to watch and we will get you all the info. J & A we are so proud of you girls, we love you and keep up the awesome job that you are doing.J & A - CousinsA is on the left & J in the centerJ is on the left and A in the centerJ's Twist Basket-Whoa Baby!J in the center A on the rightA loved watching her big sister.Getting their trophyTeam DynamicsOne of their competitor's

More Snow Fun

We went again on Saturday to play in the snow. This time we went with our neighbors and some other friends. The weather was much warmer and the snow even more slick since it had a layer of ice on top. Did not make it nice if you fell off your tube or disc. D and his best friend S went all the way to the top, and EVERYONE down below couldn't stop talking about how crazy they were, D made it down without falling off at all, S made it down but took a couple tumbles before getting to the bottom. I think we all woke up a little sore on Sunday. A didn't have nearly as much fun as she did last weekend, but she still loved eating the snow. No longer a Peanut

A had to go to the Doctor on Monday for a height and weight check. We were so excited to see the scale FINALLY break 20lbs, especially because her Doctor didn't think it would happen until her 2nd birthday, and even then she thought we'd be pushin' it. A weighed in at a wopping 21.5 lbs and she is 32 inches tall. Her weight brought her up to almost the 20th percentile for kids her age and her height is in the 25th percentile. Ok so I guess she is still kinda a peanut.

Silly Girl!

I think the title of this post pretty much sums this video up. Like most nights, she was WIRED before bed, but this time I happened to catch it on video. I just don't know where she gets all her energy from! =) The end is my favorite, it still makes me laugh every time!

Remember to scroll down and pause the music before starting the video.

Our Little Singer

I was giving A a bath a few nights ago and just couldn't help but pull the camera out. She was just singing away. I have no idea what she was singing, but it was too cute not to record and share with all of you. Man she is gonna hate me for this when she gets older. =)

Remember to scroll down to the bottom and pause the music before staring the video, we want you to be able to hear her beautiful voice loud and clear. =)

Fun in the Snow!

So last Sunday, my Mom, Rick and his son Danny, My sister and brother and law and kids all came up to play in the snow. We know a great snow play area not too far from our house so we all met here loaded up and headed to the snow. It snowed almost the whole time we were there, all of us, kids and adults had so much fun playing and sledding in the snow. It was so pretty! We hope that next time we go D and J will be able to join us.
