We had lots of fun hanging out with family and friends, A especially liked the bounce house. Here are a few of the pictures I got at the party. HELP!

A has two Halloween costumes for this year. Please help us decide which one she should wear for trick or treating. You can vote by leaving a comment or by doing the poll at the top of the page. Which ever one recieves the most votes will be the costume she wears.

The ASU Cheerleader (If she is the cheerleader I will put a turtleneck and probably some tights)Sorry that these pictures weren't better, it was almost impossible to get her to hold still. I finally had to bribe her with chips. =)

Pumpkin Patch

This past Sunday D and I decided to take A to the pumpkin patch. It was a low key trip compared to previous years. We were bummed that J had gotten sick and wasn't able to go with, it just wasn't the same without her. We also missed all our family and friends that usually go with us. But we had good time anyway, we packed a lunch and had a nice picnic by the lake. Although it wasn't quite as relaxing as we thought it would be. The whole time we were having to take turns running after A who was chasing the ducks! After that it was on to the petting zoo, and as you can imagine A went crazy for the animals. After the petting zoo we went to pick a pumpkin, we never actually got to pick one because A was way overdue for her nap and had a melt down, so we headed home. We'll just have to get pumpkins later. Here are some pictures of our day.

19 Month Update

I don't even know were to begin. It seems like just yesterday I was writing A's 18 month update, oh wait, I did. =)

A is a very active and happy little girl with a fun personality. As you probably saw in her 18 month update, she is still a little bit of a peanut. Right now our biggest struggle is clothes. She needs 9 months for the waist and 12-18 months for the length, do they make baby belts? One exciting thing is she is really pushin' to potty train. I wasn't planning on starting until after the new year, but she is ready now so i guess we are starting now. She has yet to actually go potty on the potty chair but she sits on it probably 6 times a day, trying. I am sure we will get there. Again another problem, the smallest training pants or panties I can find are 2T, you can't put a belt on panties. =)

She has recently cut four molars, which brings her to 11 teeth all together. She is a good eater with her favorite meal still being breakfast. She LOVES sausage. A's vocabulary is increasing everyday. It is also getting harder to take pictures, because she now wants to take them or look at them so half the time she chases me around until I let her have the camera. Well, I think that is about it for now. Here are some pictures of A.

J's Fall Break

Ok let me tell you about the Fall Break J had, it is not what most pre-teen girls look forward to.

J actually spent it sick and even had to spend a few days in the hospital. She has been fighting ear infections for about a month or two off and on. She has been in and out of all kinds of Dr's offices and with no real resolution. As you can imagine her ear infections have been causing her to have problems in PE, tumbling, and stunting. (her equilibrium has been off) Well her ear drum finally burst ed over Fall Break. At first we though oh good maybe all the infection will come out now. Well it didn't (not right away anyway) she ended up in the ER on Thursday night because she was in so much pain and she started to swell behind the ear. (The Dr told her to watch for that, because that was bad) Once in the ER they hooked her up to IV's and even performed a Kat scan to make sure her infection hadn't traveled in to the bones. Luckily she got there in time and they were able to stop it from spreading. The Dr's were considering surgery for a little bit, but once pumping J with 4 bags of antibiotics that was ruled out. She was in so much pain they had her on MORPHINE! With very little sleep J was finally released on Saturday morning.

J is now home and doing well. She had some dizziness, a little nausea and her ear is still a little sore, but she seems to be getting a little bit better everyday. She is on lots of medication and has a follow up appointment later this week. We will keep you posted on her results.

We would also like to thank all those we were in contact with while this was going on for all your prayers and support. We are looking forward to watching J perform in her first cheer competition for the season this Saturday, October 25th.

A Day with Friends

A couple weeks ago I had a great day catching up with good friends. We all once used to work together at OfficeMax and together we were the CopyMax Queens. Since then we have branched out, moved, had children and gotten married. It is so awesome that we are all still friends even though the distance has separated us and we aren't able to see each other as much as we used to.

We spent the afternoon with the Olsons' and the Kargs' at the park having a picnic and letting the kids play on the playground. Then S Karg and I were able to leave the kids with the guys while we met up with Amy and Carrie for a drink. It was such a fun day.
