Here She Comes!!!

This is a picture I got of Baby A, while she was trying to "get me" earlier today. Here are a couple other cute pictures I got while we were playing.

Eagerly Waiting

Baby A gets more and more excited everyday as the clock continues to countdown the days to her first birthday. It was very hard not to let her open this gift, especially since it wasn't hers. It is going to be so much fun watching her tear in to her gifts in just a couple more weeks.

Baby A's New Do

Ok, so she really hasn't gotten her first hair cut, but we were playing in the bath tub and these are some of the styles we came up with. Which do you like? The Mowhawk like Cousin D

Fun Day in the Snow

We along with Uncle D, Aunt L, Cousin A, the Moseley family, and some other friends and family went to play in the snow on Sunday. We met at a sledding hill just outside of Strawberry, and let me tell you, we had a blast! It wasn't too cold unless you stopped moving, =) even then if you wanted to escape from the cold Grandpa S, brought the motor home to escape into. It was great, we had lots of snacks, hot soup, and of course hot chocolate, to give us the fuel we needed to continue to play in the snow all day. We had snow ball fights and lots of races down the hill. The kids really wore themselves out, we were really lucky to have no injuries. Baby A did good too, well not at first, I think we had her too bundled, she could barely move and she didn't like that. Once we took her jacket off she was fine. Here are a few, ok a lot of pictures from our day.

Happy Birthday Cousin A!

Cousin A turned 11 on Sunday. We celebrated by going to play in the snow. After playing in the snow everyone headed to her house for cake, ice cream, and to watch Boo open her presents. A was very excited to see that her parents got her a Wii for her birthday. Happ Birthday A, we love you!

Time for Cabinet Locks?

Baby A loves to "help" in the kitchen but I think it is time for us to get locks on our cabinets, what do you think?

Uncle D, Aunt L & Cousin A Update

Lots of stuff going on with Uncle D, Aunt L and Cousin A, so we thought we would let you in on some of it.

Uncle D as you know has been working for Avondale Fire. He has recently started Paramedic School. So far so good, but it is not easy, he has been spending all of his "free" time studying.
Aunt L if you remember graduated from Nursing School in December, she has been working full-time at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa. Just last week Aunt L had to take her National Nursing test, which has taken up lots of her free time preparing for that, but the good news is she passed. It is official, she can now make the big bucks. =)
Cousin A, is doing very good in school, but very busy with her gymnastics career. She is practicing four days a week for like 4-5 hours at a time. She is currently a Level 7, and is enjoying traveling out of state for her competitions. When not working or studying Uncle D & Aunt L volunteer to help at A's gymnastics competitions. They are a very busy family.
We are very proud of all their new accomplishments, and felt we needed to share them with you. Hope your families are doing well.

Baby A's 11 Month Update

One more month and our Baby Girl will be a year old. Where does the time go? We just cannot believe how fast she is growing up. Every month with Baby gets just gets more and more fun. The new big thing she did this past month was she took her first steps on D's birthday. She at this point is not off and running yet, but everyday she continues to try a few more of those new steps. I am trying to get video of her walking, as soon as we do we will post it so you too can see her walk. Baby A is also becoming quite a dancer (hmm who does she get that from?) she loves music, she usually bounces a little and put her hand in the air, she is so cute. She has recently also taking a liking to books, she loves to "read" and be read too. Baby A is starting to babble more, and her babbling is starting to sound like real words. She is really trying hard to say Maq, dog, down and the word no. Every month I try and take her picture on her month birthday on the same chair, and it gets harder to get her to sit and hold still every month the first two pictures are me trying to get those pictures. We hope you enjoy Baby A's new pictures.
Sit Still!

Yeah Right Mom.

Grandma C turns 55!

We just wanted to wish Grandma C a very Happy Birthday! Grandma turned 55 on February 18th. She has been fighting a cold so pretty much just laid low, until dinner time, then Grandpa J treated her to burger at Red Robin. Grandma C felt very special when she got phone calls, from her two sons, three grand daughters, and two daughter in-laws. Happy Birthday Grandma C, we love you!

Mr. & Mrs. Jake & Katie Sparks

Our friends Jake and Katie were married on Saturday, February 16th. We just wanted to wish them a GREAT BIG- CONGRATULATIONS! We are so bummed that at the last minute we weren't able to attend the wedding. We love them and wish them all the best in their new life together.

Happy Valentines Day!

We hope that all of you had a great Valentines Day and got to spend time with your Special Valentines. Baby A and I spent ours without two Very Special Valentines, D & J. This was Baby A's first Valentines Day, so that made it extra special. D wanted to make sure that he was Baby A's first Valentine, just like he was J's first Valentine, so at Midnight he went in to her room, gave her a kiss and told her "Happy Valentines Day, Daddy is your first Valentine". I wanted to kill him for waking her up, but good thing she gets her sleeping habits from her dad & big Sister, cuz she quickly went back to sleep. D had to work on Valentines Day, so I got up early and made him breakfast before he went off to work. He had gotten Baby A and I flowers, and the girls and I got him his favorite chocolates, we had to send J her Valentine. Later that day I had to take Baby A to get some routine blood work done, let me tell you I don't think she is my child. She didn't cry, move or even flinch when they stuck the needle in her arm. I thought I was gonna pass out just from watching. =) She sat on my lap and gave them dirty looks the whole time and never cried once. I had to take a picture of the pink bandage they put on her arm afterward. D had Friday off from work so we got to spend sometime together then. It was such a nice relaxing day. it snowed most of the afternoon, so we lit a fire and just sat back and watched the snow come down. It was very nice. Later that evening D and I went to a Marriage Banquet at church. It was a sit down Prime Rib dinner with a guest speaker giving us tips on how to "Building on the Strength of your Marriage", no our marriage is not in trouble, we are fine, but it is always nice to get tips on how to make it even better. And best of all FREE child care. This was our first "date" without Baby A, it was nice to be able to eat dinner while it was still hot. =) We actually went with another couple, Stephen & Mary. We had the best table and made friends with the other couple we sat with. It was a nice night.Stephen & Mary
