R Olson's 1st Birthday Party

We went to our good friends the Olsons', daughters 1st birthday party last Saturday. We had a great time spending time with them, and A & R had lots of fun playing together. Beautiful Spring Weather

I am probably gonna jinx this, but we have had really good weather the last few days. It seems like it's been forever since we have had a sunny day without wind, rain or snow, so we have been out taking advantage of the SUN!

Birthday Fun

One of A's little boyfriends celebrated his 2nd Birthday on Sunday. The kids are just so cute, I had to share a couple of pictures. He couldn't wait for us to stop singing-he wanted his cupcake.

Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER! We hope all of you had a great Easter. We had a pretty good one. We did things a little different this year, we decided to stay home. It was very nice going to our own Church's' Easter service and we loved not spending 6 hours on the road on a holiday, but it was hard not seeing and spending time with family, ESPECIALLY J. My mom did get to come up, so tat was nice. I made a ham dinner and we had a couple friends over, then had an Easter egg hunt with the kids. A had a blast hunting for the eggs. She was absolutely adorable in her little Easter dress.

On Saturday before Easter we took A downtown for the Easter Egg eggstravaganva. We got to see the Easter bunny, and hold new baby bunnies, we didn't stay long due to the cold weather and the snow that was coming down, but A loved the baby bunnies. Saturday evening we dyed Easter eggs, A liked dropping them in to the cups of dye, she liked watching the colors splash, and hearing the eggs crack. =) Here are the pictures from our Easter weekend Sorry I just realized I uploaded them out of order, oops. Cheerleading Nationals

The whole reason we went to Las Vegas was for J and Cousin A's Cheerleading Nationals. Team Dynamics has two teams a Juniors and a Seniors team. J competes on the Seniors team, and Cousin A competes on both the Juniors and Seniors team. Both Girls and teams did an awesome job, we are so proud of them.

Here is how Nationals work, they are usually a two day competition, each team competes twice (once on each day), day 1's performance counts for 1/3 of their score and day 2 counts for the remaining 2/3. On day 1 the Juniors came out like a rocket out of a cannon, they looked awesome and performed a near perfect routine, putting them in second place (out of 9 teams) at the end of the day. Seniors on the other hand had a little shaky start, they had a few bobles, and they're energy just wasn't there, leaving them in third place (out of 4 teams) at the end of day 1.

Day 2 - Once again the Juniors came out and performed another rock solid routine. And this time the Seniors did too, it was one of the best performance I have ever seen from the Seniors, there stunts went up and stuck, there motions and jumps were just beautiful, and I can't even explain the energy they were sending out. It was an amazing, performance! Now on to the results......drum roll please..... we were so excited, both teams came home with 2nd Place! Woo-hoo! Awesome job to J and Cousin A and Team Dynamics!
