Getting ready for Christmas was so fun this year, Allison was/is just so excited for the tress, lights decorations, everything, it is so cute. Ashley just loves it too and has just been dying for it to all go up. Here are some pictures of our decorated house and of us decorating the tree.

We lit a fire had fresh hot homemade chocolate chip cookies and warm hot chocolate and of course Christmas music playing while we decorated.
Our new 2011 Christmas Ornament
We have a couple of these "Merry Christmas from Heaven" ornaments in remembrance of Dan's Aunt Connie and Grandma Bates and My Grandma Shookman. This year we told Ashley a little story about each of them before letting her hang them on the tree. As she hung them she would say Merry Christmas Great Grandma or Aunt Connie.

I just love our Christmas Tree, the evenings are spent with that being the only light on while we watch a Christmas movie or read some Christmas stories. The tree and our Christmas Card door are two of my favorite decorations. =)

Oh what fun you must have had. I love the tree and all the decorations and I must admitt the rememberance ornaments always get me it was so sweet of Ashly to tell each one of the Merry Chirstmas. Great job Guys.
