Christmas Parade, Gingerbread Display & Court House Lighting
On Saturday we headed downtown for the 25th Annual Christmas Parade and 53rd Annual Courthouse Lighting. This is a tradition that we have been participating in since we moved up here, it is always so much fun. Grandma C came up to join in on the fun Christmas Activities, and Scot and Katrina met us downtown. We are bummed the rest of our family and friends weren't able to join us. It started out as a VERY cold rainy morning. By the time the parade started the sun came out a little and it seemed like it warmed up a bit. For the first couple of "floats" we even got a few snow flakes, it was so neat. Once again D was part of the parade, so we got to cheer him on as he went by. We sat snuggled with our blankies, hot chocolate, popcorn and homemade chocolate chip cookies, yummy.

After the parade we headed to Wildflower Bread Company for a nice warm bowl of potato soup. Then we were off to the casino to see the "Worlds Largest Gingerbread House" display, that is always so cool to see. Lot's of work go into these gingerbread houses, one of these days we will enter one.
