D built two block retaining walls, that will eventually be stuccoed and caps put on the tops of them. and together the two walls make a planter area. We plan on putting rocks and plants inside of it, and he has already installed lights in all the walls. We have flattened out the top part as well, A's new play house sits up there, and we'd like to get a swing set and put the trampoline back up. Down below will be all grass, we actually have sod coming Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Along the edges of the house we will have concrete curbing with rocks up to the house to help keep the dirt off the house and plants along it. Well, here are some "work in Progress" pictures, and if you ever saw it before it is like a night and day difference. We will post some pictures as soon as it is all done in a week or two.

Landscaping Update
We are finally making progress on our back yard so I thought I would give you an update on it and show you some pictures. D (and A) have been hard at work in the back yard the last few weeks. D is trying really hard to have it completed by Thanksgiving, and it looks like he may actually do it. Unfortunately I do not have any "before" pictures because it was so hideous, I never wanted to take any pictures of it. =) A just loves to be outside, so this will be great when it is finished, as you see she loves to help her daddy in the yard.
