We had such a good Easter and hope all of you did too! Dan had to work so we decided to go to the sunrise service, yes 6am, so we could all go to church to get to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior. I am so glad we did, it was such a breath taking ceremony. After the service they served a pancake breakfast and had some activities for the kids. After church the girls and I headed home to see if the Easter bunny came (he doesnt come unless we go to church). Well, the girls were excited to see that he did come. We had a ittle Easter egg hunt before the family came over. We had an amazing lunch and had a good day with family. After our "family" time we headsed over to our neighbor Jon and Marti's house to have our 4th annual Easter egg hunt. This year we tried something different. Each kid was assigned a color of egg to hunt and each kid had the same amount of eggs to find. It went really well, it turned in to a race to see who could find thiers first. The sweetest thing is they were all helping each other find each others eggs, it was pretty neat. After our egg hunt we had some yummy desert! Again such a great day, just wish Dan could have been home to celebrate with us.
We drug Mom out of bed to come with us too. =)
