Can you believe it? WE HAVE A TEENAGER!!! That's right, J turned 13 on November 21st. She had a pretty AWESOME Birthday weekend. It's a tradition for J not to go to school on her actual Birthday, she got to stay home and have fun. J and her Mom went shopping at Scottsdale Mall, met Grandma Debby and Aunt Katie for lunch, then had dinner with her family. Saturday was the party, she had a big party with about 20 girlfriends from school. They ate, danced, played games, and sat by the fire. All the girls had a good time. J got lots of great gifts, gift cards and lots of cash.
Sunday was our day. We took her shopping to get her gifts. She got a couple new tops, and her Juicy perfume she has been wanting. After all that shopping we worked up an appetite for our favorite restaurant YC's, Grandma & Grandpa Bates joined us there to see the Birthday Girl, then we went to Baskin Robbins for Dessert.
