Last Saturday the Prescott Fire Department celebrated it's 125th Anniversary as the oldest Fire Department in the State of Arizona. It was a pretty big deal for the City of Prescott & Fire Department so quite the party was thrown. It started with a small parade of fire trucks, into the opening ceremonies that ended with fireworks and men repelling from the top of the fire truck ladders, it was so neat. Each hour they had a different demonstration of situations the fire department responds to. They even had a car fire with a real victim that they rescued and had to send away in a helicopter, and finished the day off with a "structure" fire. They had food, live music and bouncys for the kids, it was a lot of fun.
J came up for the day as well as Grandma & Grandpa and the Garcia Family. We had fun hanging out, walking around the shops, eating good food and of course enjoying the day together. Thank you all for coming up, we really enjoyed seeing and spending time with you.

That looks like such a neat day. The kids would have loved it!! We would have been there if we didn't have company in town.
It looks like you had so much fun! Wish we lived a bit closer!
