The Delivery

If you didn't get it in the post before this one, delivery went fast. I was checked at 12:35 and was dilated to a 3 made some quick progress and delivered Alli just 35 minutes later at 1:11 pm. Dan likes to tell people that I decided to walk/crawl the first quarter of a marathon then decided to jump in a jet car for the rest. =)

Allison was born at 35 weeks and 6 days. Her gestational age was 35 weeks. The Doctors and nursers were all very impressed with how well Allison was doing for being so early. This delivery was so different then Ashley's, Ashley came out with the cord around her neck and not breathing, they immediately took her away with out telling us if it was a boy or girl, we didn't get to see her for few minutes and Dan didn't get to cut the umbilical cord. This time as soon as Allison came out they handed her right to me and Dan was able to cut the umbilical cord, it was so cool. To me birth is so gross, but yet it is the most amazing thing ever.

She weighed 5.156 or 6 pounds =)
