Soccer

Soccer season has started, which means we are busy every Saturday from now until November.  =)  Dan is the coach of our team and David and I are his assistants, this has been a learning experience for all of us so far.  The kids are having a blast and really enjoying playing especially with their friends.

 At our parent meeting we let the kids come up with our team name, they chose Blue Thunder Dragons.  =)  So here is our 2012 Blue Thunder Dragons

 Our 1st practice was good, the guys really got to know the kids better and learn how to coach each kid so they were successful.

OUR 1st GAME...Saturday, September 15th

We played the green Tornadoes, funny thing is we are a team of 5 boys and 1 girl and they were a team of 5 girls and 1 boy.  Heath and Addie two of Ashley's other good friends were on the Tornadoes.  She also had 2 classmates on the Tornadoes team.

So after the game I buckle Allison up in her car seat, close the door and go to get in, yeah didn't realize all the doors were locked with my keys inside, had to call the Fire Department to come un lock the doors.  =} Yes, I paid my debit to them and dropped ice cream off to them later that day.  

Our 2nd game was to be played on Saturday, September 22, but we ended up having to forfeit, Arlo & Zeno were out of town and Kai and Reece ended up super sick the day before.  But we should be ready to go this coming week for Game 3.  Let me know if you would like to come see a soccer game and I will get you the info.  =)
