4 Months

Allison is now 4 months old and weighs 14.8 ounces and she is 24 inches long. Allison is in the 50th percentile for her weight and 40th percentile for her length. Big sister Ashley was only 12 lbs 10 ounces at her 4 month check up and she too was 24 inches long. Allison is trying really hard to sit up, she hates to be laying, I think she thinks she might miss something. =) This past month we moved her into her crib in her own room, she is doing really good and sleeping much better. Only getting up once to eat in the middle of the night, I am not gonna complain about that. She seems to be a lot like me so far, early to bed and early to rise. It is not uncommon to here her talking and laughing in her crib at about 6:30 in the morning. We have also started to introduce her to a sippy cup, so far she can hold it, but really isn't sure what to do with it beyond that, but wanna get her a little familiar with it. She is a pretty happy baby, lots of smiles giggles and talking. She loves her baths and sleeps "like a baby" after them, I am telling you the Johnson lavender soap works like a charm. =) Allison just loves her big sisters and loves having the boys (that I babysit) around. She still really isn't rolling, when I talked to the Dr about it, she said she may be just a little behind the average. Which doesn't surprise me because it seems she has been a little bit behind on some other things, but the Dr said we have to remember she was a preemie at 5 weeks early and may be a little slower at some stuff, but not to worry, we will watch her and it shouldn't take her too long to catch up. We had her 3 well 3 1/2 month pictures done, they came out soo cute, I still have a few extras, leave me a comment and let me know if you would like me to send ya one.
