...let the planning begin.

Ever since Ashley saw Cinderella last Fall at the Pumpkin Festival, she has not stopped talking about wanting her to come to her birthday party, we let her know we would send her an invitation but wasn't sure if she would be able to come, thank goodness she can't read yet, because she was totally surprised to see that not only Cinderella but Woody showed up to her birthday party. Seeing her face when she saw Cinderella was priceless and worth every penny we spent on the party.

Of course all week long we had the most beautiful weather, so we planned to have the arty at our house we figured, we would set tables and chairs up outside for the kids and the adults could hang out inside and watch through the windows...yeah mother nature didn't agree with that plan, it was freezing cold and windy that day, so the party had to be moved in doors. No big deal, except my inside is not big enough for ~20 kids and their parents. =}

We sent Ashley down to the neighbors house to play while Mom finished decorating and getting ready for the party so she was totally shocked when she came home to a princess decorated house full of her friends.

We hid Cinderella & Woody in our room, once Ashley got home and got over the shock and got her lip gloss refreshed =} we let them out. Look at her face in these next few pictures(you can double click on a picture to enlarge it), there is also a video below.

They played two games, read a story and sung to the kids before serving them their snacks.

Lets have some cake!

Then there was dancing...
...and crafts, the Girls made Tiaras, while the boys made Woody belt buckles. Then everyone made bracelets.

Princess Ashley didn't want much to do with Woody till the very end, then she gave him a big hug and thanked him for coming.

Saying Goodbye to Cinderella.

Enjoy the videos be sure to scroll down and mute the music before playing them.

Overall, I think the party went well, Ashley had a blast and that was the most important thing. i was a little overwhelmed, trying to be Mom, host and photographer. I am very embarrassed over these pictures, NOT my best work, oh well, not much I can do now. =) Ashley got lots of great gifts, thank you everyone who came and we missed those of you that were away. I will be doing her 4 year update after her Dr appt on April 26th.
