Cousin Time!

Last week was a fun, exciting and exhausting week. My brother in law David (my sister Erin's husband) had a union convention he had to go to in Vegas, well after my sister got word of this they decided to make a vacation out of it. They like most couples are so busy working and with life that they don't get much time away with out the kids. When she called a couple of months ago to see if I would watch them, I didn't even hesitate and said YES!! I know how important it is for them to have that time away as husband and wife as well as the importance of us getting the time with my two nephews and niece, David 8, Kai 4 and Angelina 3. They drove up here on Saturday, July 9th we all hung out together and BBQ, they spent the night and were up and out pretty early on Sunday morning. My sister just asked that i take lots of pictures of the kids while they were gone, duh, does she not know me...at all? lol This is going to be a multiple part post, because we just had such a great week together. Here are pictures from the first couple of days.

We got a huge storm on Sunday, the kids had a great time playing in it.

Yes, that is the boys you see, I still had them this week too, so there were 3.5 days that I had 7 kids for the whole day. =)

On Monday, we headed to the library for story time, thank goodness for our suburban, because we were packed. David got to sit in the front seat on the days the boys were with us.

All three kids really enjoyed story time and making a craft. David even checked out a book about Cobras, he loved it so much he even did a book report about them for his parents, he even drew his own cobra.
