Hose Cart Races & Bucket Brigades

Sunday, July 3rd was the annual Fire Fighter Hose Cart Races and Bucket Brigades, always a blast, always a VERY wet event. Dan worked that day so it was the girls and I, Grandma Cyndy and Kurstin & Zach. I participated again this year with my same team from last year, hey we had a championship to hold on too. =) We lost at the bucket brigades, this time we were at least close, last year we got our butts KICKED. And totally kicked butt at the hose cart races. Woo-Hoo, we are the Fire Wives Hose Cart Champs for the 2nd year in a row. =) We plan to go for a 3 peat next year, and we wanna have shirts made, any ideas for what they should say?

After the hose cart races we went to the annual fire union picnic at the park, got this cute picture of the girls with their friend Lilleeann. =)
