On Friday, which was also September 11th, J's school had a patriotic assembly in remembrance of September 11th. It was really simple & short yet kinda emotional, I have to admit it actually brought a tear (or two) to my eye. At one point the whole school joined arms and sung "God Bless the USA" out loud, it was so cool, because many of these kids were not even a thought when the September 11th tragedies took place, it was awesome! Later that evening we ate pizza for dinner then I let the kids stay up a little bit late while we watched The Hannah Montana Movie and ate popcorn & ice cream. The last group picture of us took quite a few tries with the camera timer. =) Another great day down!
