Labor Day Weekend

We had a pretty good labor day weekend and hope all of you did too. We kinda started a new tradition last year. Our town for many years has a pancake breakfast, parade & corn dinner on Saturday, and we just discovered it last year, thanks to the Garcia's. We started Saturday morning bright and early at the pancake breakfast, all you can eat pancakes and ham, mmm it was so yummy! We got a little storm after breakfast, and luckily for us it cleared up by the time the parade started. After the parade our friend Steve and the girls (Kurstin & Ciera) came to the house to hang out & play some games until the corn dinner. The storms continued into the afternoon, and we even lost our electricity for a couple hours, but we had a lot of fun playin' games and hangin' out. We all then loaded up and headed to the corn dinner. We had BBQ Beef, cole slaw, and the best all you can eat corn on the cob. Oh, it was so good! After dinner we headed to the Garcia's for Dessert, fresh homemade Apple Pie. The best thing about our day was spending it with family & friends. The rest of our weekend wasn't too exciting, just cleaning and yard work. Here are some pictures from our Saturday.Pancakes
