Dan had to work on Christmas Day this year, so we had to celebrate our Christmas a little early, here is how we did it...We treated the 23rd as Christmas Eve, Dan actually worked the 23rd, but found a trade for that evening so he got off work at 5pm on the 23rd but had to be back to work by 5pm on the 24th and would get off again the morning of the 26th, whew! It worked out that our church was having a Christmas Eve-Eve Service, so it just fit perfect in to our plans. We met Dan at Church when he got off from work, Dan's parents also came up to join us for church, then spent the night to watch the girls open their Santa gifts the next day. Anyway, so we went to church and did all the awesome events they had going on there, then we went to dinner. After dinner we headed home to get ready for Santa. A tradition we have started in our home is the girls are allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve, NEW PJ's!! =) Allison was out by the time we got home so she didn't get to open hers, next year. We then got Santa's cookies and milk and the reindeer's food and carrots ready. Then Daddy and Grandpa read Ashley a story, Twas The Night Before Christmas, before it was time to tuck her in. Ashley was so excited for Santa to come and to our surprise she actually went to sleep really fast. Dan and I got done what we needed to by a fairly decent time. ;}

It is always fun to look back and see all the fun we had building our Gingerbread houses and just enjoying each other.
Meant to also let you know that we truely enjoyed going to the candle light service, the hayride and truely enjoyed watching Ashley prepare for Santa's arrival.
